I have found with a few books that it is an age thing. I cannot connect sometimes and won’t waste my time if I’m not enjoying a book. There are too many amazing books out there. Happy Easter!
Maybe it was the Haikus - I'm reading the poetry this week - The Griffin Poetry Prize Anthology 2021. It's a collection of about 12 poets with 5 poems each from both International and Canadian authors. I really like the sample size and the breadth of poets.
On my way to finish The Count of Monte Cristo. It has been quite a ride as I've been reading it with a group of friends for months now.

I'm reading Landslide by Susan Conley. A really beautiful, quiet novel set in a small fishing town in Maine.
