Congratulations! I read your first book with such pleasure together with a book group I belonged to then; you actually accepted our invitation to come talk at Books & Co with us, lo these many years ago. So excited that you've found a publisher! and who knows, perhaps some day she'll help you publish those languishing manuscripts also. But first, your current project!
Hoorah! I am currently reading a book that is profoundly touching me in all sorts of ways. It's nonfiction, "The Body Keeps the Score" by Bessel van der Kolk. It's about trauma and how it has been understood and treated (or mistreated), is treated now, and can be treated.
Currently reading *Library: An Unquiet History* (Matthew Battles) - just finished *Grey Wolf* (Louise Penny). Still plugging away on Women in the American Revolution.
I love this: "Fear of a jinx is already breathing over my shoulder. I can see Kaye cringing." Beautifully written! Although there's no jinx - you've got this. Congratulations, Kathy!
I love the great photo and am so happy to hear your news. I loved the opportunities you gave me to guest edit and value being one of your loyal readers.
I have been amazed at the breadth and diversity of your reading and your discipline in comitting to write so faithfully on a regular basis.
Before I retired after 33 years of teaching at Yale and another dozen at Choate combined with being a mom, I found it hard to do much writing of my own. But paradoxically I got many of my best ideas when I was most busy. I do get inspiring ideas for reading and writing right here, and want to continue to do so.
Please keep us abreast of your progress so we can cheer you on. 💐✍🏼
CONGRATULATIONS!!
(I’m eager to know what this book is about but totally understand your reticence here). Always, always thrills me when former students succeed!
How exciting! Congratulations!
congrats! When it is the right time, I will look forward to hearing about the project (and reading the product!)
Congratulations!! Can’t wait to hear what it’s about. You’ve got this!🩷
